Kulkurin valssi oli vuoden kestävä
maaseutumatkailu-projekti Helsingin yliopiston aikuiskoulutuskeskuksessa,
joka alkoi v. 1999 lopulla ja kesti v.2000 loppuun. Mukana oli pk - yrittäjiä
Uudeltamaalta - ja Itä-Uudeltamaalta. Edustettuna oli majoitus, ruoka ja
ohjelmapalvelut.
Kurssin loputtua Kulkurit eivät halunneet erota toisistaan, joten
perustettiin yhdistys. 90% silloisista kurssilaisista kuuluu edelleen
yhdistykseen.
Olemme vuosien varrella olleet mukana yhteisissä tapahtumissa, mm. Sotungin
Wanhanajan Joulu. Kursseista mainittakoon italialainen ruoka ja
makkarakurssi.

Walker´s waltz was a project at Helsinki University Adult Education center
to prevent the counntrytravelling and the business of small companies. The
project took place for one year to the end of the year 2000. The small
business people came from the area of Newland (South-Finland) with
accomodation, food and different kind of programs.
When the education program was ended, the partisipants didn´t want to
separate from each other and we started an union of countrytravel named
Kulkurin valssi (Walker´s waltz) and to-day 90% of all the people are still
going on and new people are joining in.
Over the years we have taken place
in many events such as " The Oldfashion Christmas in Sotunki" and educations
like: "Italian food" and "Making sausages" just to mention some of them
The best thing is that we have a great network of friends within the
union and we help each other both spiritually and physically. Our
